Good boss, bad boss

good bosses are hard to find. i look at other new execs and they have their boss asking them "are you very blur about what's going on?", "feel free to ask me anything you dunno", "are u settling in ok?"

and what i got from my boss is, "Jo, i expect u to be very independent here. this is a big organisation. dun expect me to spoon-feed u everything. i dun have time for this! i expect u to swim when i throw u in the water!" wat the starfruit watermelon! bish! she didnt even bother assigning a buddy to me (which btw is company protocol) when i joined.

i learn to stop asking her, cos at the end of the day - i wun b getting any answers from her - might as well find my own ways. upset me for a teeny-while, but nah... i'm moving on.. i'm stronger than this

put is dis way, if u were really a SYT (i scared if u will hit me for dis =P), it could have been much much worst.

first day of work and my mgr oredi asked me my age n told me in my face she's had enough with xmm... before u ask, she's married with 2 kids i tink...

but then good mgrs r hard to come by. she's not all that bad la... mayb we're jus not that synced
